Mavin Records Industry Nite

Lagos came to a standstill on Wednesday night as the Mavins shut down Industry Nite. A jam-packed Oriental Hotel played host to hundreds of fans and celebrities who all came to see the Mavins perform together for the first time. And what a performance it was! Wande Coal, Tiwa Savage, Dr.Sid, D' Prince and Don Jazzy all took turns to individually and collectively wow the crowd .

The Mavins performance was the climax of a night that saw other artists such as Segun and Yemi Alade take to the stage. There was also a joint performance between Tunde Ednut and Dr.Sid for 'Catching Cold' which brought the house down. It was a night full of light hearted fun with even Don Jazzy taking to the stage to do the Azonto with Wande Coal. The Mavin crew thanked all their fans who were able to make it and promised that there is much more to come from the label.

FAKE MANAGER OF WIZKID SCAMS UNILAG STUDENTS

WizKid and his manager, Godwin Tom, were allegedly questioned by detectives of the Nigerian Police Force, in relation to an event booking, organised by the University of Lagos students.
The students alleged that they paid the sum of N500,000 to a man whom claimed to be Wizkid' s manager, and he promised to make Wizkid available to perform at a show they were organising at UNILAG sport complex, on the 21st of May 2013, but Wizkid never turned up. The students then decided to follow up the case by reporting to the Nigerian Police Force.
The management of Wizkid has denied collecting any booking fee on behalf of Wizkid's. The official management of Wizkid, has announced that the person that the students paid to was a fake Wizkid manager/scammer.
We are using this medium to also inform all prospective event organisers, to ensure that they are dealing with the right management of any artiste and also ensure they speak to the artiste in person, before making any financial transactions.

Wizkid narrowly misses death in a Porsche car accident : Wizkid in car crash

We can officially confirmed that StarBoy Wizkid @wizkidayo, has narrowly escaped death, this morning, by the grace of God. Wizkid was driving around Lekki area of Lagos State, nearby Oriental Hotel, when his car suddenly lost control and crashed, at about 3 am Nigerian time. The cause of the accident has been attributed to a bad Tyre according to unconfirmed source.

He was driving around with a lady passenger and our source also reported that Wizkid did not sustain any serious injuries, and that Wizkid is in a stable and sound condition.

Wizkid's Porsche car is worth a whooping £70,000.00 and his insurance company should be preparing for a massive payout, if it was not due to negligence on his part.

We have attached photos of the Porsche before the accident and what it might have looked like after the accident.

We have been trying to reach Wizkid on phone to ensure that he is okay.

He only dropped a new audio track titled, "Talk", and i certainly know that a lot of people are going to be talking about this accident.
